Determines how inventory costs are calculated when items are consumed in production or sold. This setting impacts your COGS deduction under IRC §280E.

Session Timeout
Automatically log out users after a period of inactivity. A warning banner appears 5 minutes before timeout. Required for cannabis facility compliance — prevents unauthorized access on unattended terminals.
Tax Configuration
Configure Illinois cannabis tax rates for automatic calculation on sales orders and invoices. Rates update as regulations change.
State Excise Tax (Cannabis Purchaser Excise Tax)
Illinois levies excise tax on cannabis products based on THC content. Applies to retail/wholesale.
Additional Taxes
Cultivation Privilege Tax applies to cultivator wholesale sales (7% of gross receipts). Set to 0 if not applicable.
Appearance
Customize the look of Culextion. Dark mode reduces eye strain in low-light environments and can save battery on OLED screens.
Low-Stock Alerts
Display dashboard alerts when inventory falls below a configurable threshold. Choose between percentage-based (% of received qty consumed) or fixed-quantity alerts with proper units.
Each ingredient and packaging item can have its own alert mode. In Edit mode, use the Low Stock column to set a custom percentage or fixed threshold per item. Items set to "Default" will use the global setting above.
Example: Sugar received 5,000g with 60% consumed threshold → alerts at ≤2,000g remaining. Gelatin received 1,000g → alerts at ≤400g.
Purchase Order Guardrails
Configure tolerance thresholds for receiving inventory against purchase orders.
When receiving a PO, quantities exceeding the ordered amount by more than this percentage will trigger a confirmation warning. Default: 10%.
